The sharpness at the corners is pretty bad.
lens is a lot cheaper so there is a bit of a niche market in there if you own one of the more common Canon apsc cameras then this lens's widest angle of 28 mm is not actually a very wide angle at all frankly you'd be miles better off with an EFS lens for example this 18 to 135
