The XT33 has the face eye detection, works even on not actual faces, but also adds subject detection, animal, birds, cars, planes, trains, motorcycles, things with wheels, probably not wheelie bins, bringing it neatly in line with what the XT5, XC50, and XM5 offer for AF.
On the front, we have a little autofocus uh switch, which by the way, the camera also has a new processor, which allows you to track subjects like birds, planes, trains, people if you're into that.
A nice improvement for this new camera is its autofocus system, which offers you a load of subject recognition options, just like the XM5 and XT50 cameras.
