at its lowest aperture setting of f 2.8 this lens creates some really nice separation between foreground and background i can't seem to find any noticeable vignetting on this lens even when i crank the aperture like the volume knob when i'm listening to rusted root in my subaru on the way to whole…
Now, we do see a tad of vignetting at f2.8, and the corners are a tad soft, but at 3.5, the vignetting is gone, and by f4, the edges of frame are nice and sharp.
Obviously, you lose some aperture because you're pretty good, but you're probably going to stop down anyway.
