put it on the weight scale and this lens is going to go ahead and weigh 382 grams it is the lightest of the bunch what's good about this lens is it's lightweight but still feels very well built 382 grams moving on to the Apple 700 grams even so a little under double the weights of the sumacron SL
guessing the distance to your subject and you can always see okay what will be in focus at f8 or f11 and so on the build quality of the summicron is excellent uh the all metal construction gives a solid feel without being too heavy at um 195 G it's still pretty good the lens came in black or Chrome
