The headphone jack doubles as a remote control jack, and the camera can be charged by USBC.
it's has less chance of it actually breaking, but if you are just using the camera by itself, I mean, it doesn't really matter obviously what kind of IO ports you have on the side there, but they both do have a 3.5 mic jack in and a headphone jack out for that monitoring.
