As you can see, the barrel extends a long way, making this lens very large when fully extended.
this is very compact for what it is extended out to 300 mm the length doubles the overall feeling and build of this lens is topnotch it's a high quality plastic body but the edges and the tolerances and the feel of it really everything makes it seem quite premium it's a lens that is made in Japan…
We have a new Sigma 16 to 300 that is a compact do everything zoom lens that I'm comparing to, I would say, a dedicated telephoto zoom.
