As a photo and video shooter, one of the small feature I like was the lens hood on which you can screw a filter.

to mention though the Tamron is physically larger around its diameter is quite a bit wider it takes 67 millimeter filters this sony takes 49 that is absolutely gonna be a big difference however I would say that Tamron is a company seems to be trying to make a lot of their recent lenses with a 67…
