here although some portrait photographers quite like that as it makes your subject look a little thinner at f1.4 we see pretty clear vignetting or darkness in the corners stop down to F2 or f2.8 to see it clear up quite nicely so for a portrait lens that is a completely average performance now…
and close focus and infinity these examples are with the in camera profiles off and Lightroom correction off as well at close Focus the new lens performs well with pretty even illumination across the frame at Infinity we can see it vetting a little more but it's not hard vignette just light fall…
If we zoom back out on the test charts, we can also see that there's some mild vignetting happening wide open at F1.4, but it's extremely well controlled.
