with my a74 they do seem to be a lot more reliable than the a73 although I shot the A7 3s for about the same amount of time and I never had a problem with those either but I can acknowledge that the a73 did have a more regular issue with the shutter so ergonomically the cameras are fantastic I

and I've not had it shut down because of the heat you can prioritize record time over overheating with this camera what you can do in the menus is switch it from a standard to high and then what you can also do here's a couple of shooting tips for you is shoot short bursts at 60.
