It takes a larger battery than the Sony takes so you're going to get more battery life on this side just for the sheer fact that the battery is larger but you will get plenty of time out of these batteries.
You can also purchase that separately if you have any other Sony camera, I highly recommend you do that cuz they work with the smaller batteries
